EvolvOptic has successfully completed a NASA SBIR Phase I program demonstrating a scalable manufacturing approach for lightweight, ultra-stable optical mirrors using CLEARCERAM®-Z. The technology supports next-generation space telescopes, aerospace imaging systems, defense applications, and other precision optical markets.

EvolvOptic has announced the relocation and expansion of its Rochester manufacturing operations, consolidating the legacy Advanced Glass Industries and GlassFab facilities into a new unified site. The move strengthens production capacity, improves operational efficiency, and supports future growth in optical glass and precision component manufacturing.

EvolvOptic has been selected to fabricate prototype lightweight mirror components for evaluation by the University of Rochester’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics as part of early-stage development supporting NSF OPAL. The work supports research into manufacturable, large-aperture mirror technologies for next-generation, ultra-high-intensity laser systems.

EvolvOptic completed the acquisition of DiMaxx Technologies, a California-based manufacturer of laser optical components with advanced CNC machining, opto-mechanical assembly, and metrology capabilities.
